Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November saw the return of#SLACfest (Sierra Leone Arts and Culture Festival) at Brixton House in South London and Poplar Union, in East.
Sierra Leone’s ‘Re-introduction’ and ‘Re-emergence’ were the themes for this year’s gathering delivering a star studded line up including Vckie Remoe, Alim Kamara and keynote speaker Foday Dumbuya.

Needless to say we were delighted to be commissioned to create a Map of Sierra Leone puzzle for the event’s charity raffle to raise money for the Sickle Cell Society, a charity very close to our Founders heart.
Laser cut from Bamboo with hand finished glueing and varnishing the map puzzle made its debut appearance at the festival.

We would like to say a big THANK YOU to Siana Bangura, Abu Yillah, The Young Sierra Leonean CIC and the rest of the #SLACfest team for the opportunity to create the commissioned map puzzle for the event.
We would also like to congratulate the winner of the puzzle pictured with our Founder.
