Are you aiming to develop and launch a new craft product in 2026 but don’t know where to start?
Do you have an idea for a craft product but don’t know where to start or what steps you need to take to bring your idea to life?
YACreates is offering 10 local craft enthusiasts the opportunity to explore ways to bring product ideas to life through its new ‘Routes to Market’ development programme.
Participants will be guided to develop an action plan that will support their journey of making, promoting and selling craft products for business or as an additional income stream. Delivered through a series of group research and discussion sessions completed action plans will help participants decide on how to make, promote, price and sell their finished product.
Participants will also:
**gain clarity on ways to move forward using the action plans they have created.
**benefit from the experience of a craft business owner
**make new connections and find potential collaborators
**identify ways to create and innovate
The programme aims to provide support for crafters who are taking their first steps into making and selling their wares. It also aims to unlock the potential for creating more innovative and culturally significant products within the local community.
This programme is free to craft enthusiasts aged 18-65, and based in and around Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Interested parties can apply here by 11am on Tuesday 28th October 2025.
