Chainmaille Jewellery Workshops
Join this hands-on jewellery making workshop where you’ll learn how to transform metal rings into stunning jewellery using the ancient art of chainmaille. Throughout the class Yejide, a seasoned crafter and jewellery maker, will guide you through the process, providing demonstrations and tips to help you create a beautiful bracelet to take home. This three-hour session is ideal for complete beginners. Once you get into the rhythm and flow of weaving your rings, you’ll find that it evokes a sense of focus and calm, enabling you to create a beautiful piece of jewellery that you’ll be proud to wear and show off. You will learn:
- Chainmaille basics and its history
- The tools required to weave chainmaille
- Two foundational weaves
- How to create your own chainmaille bracelet from one or both weave styles
Come along and discover the joy of creating intricate chainmaille jewellery in a friendly and supportive setting. You’ll leave with a unique keepsake and a newfound sense of confidence in your making skills. What you’ll get
